Our Older Adult Centers (OAC): Swinging Sixties (211 Ainslie Street) and Cooper Park (288 Frost Street) offer a full menu of social, nutritional, educational, and fun activities.

OACs Provide

  • Breakfast and lunch are served daily for a small fee.
  • Art classes
  • Movement/dance classes
  • Access to food pantry
  • Bingo, cards, games
  • Special events
  • Trips
  • Assistance with enrollment in services

Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC)

The Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) at Lindsay Park Co-op (31 Leonard Street) assists with support services that improve life quality including social services, wellness activities, health management, counseling, friendship, applying for senior benefits, home care, food, and more!

Lindsay Park NORC Provides

  • Wellness checks
  • Mental health evaluations
  • One-to-one counseling
  • Access to food pantry
  • Independent living support
  • Assistance with:  Medicaid/Medicare/health insurance, SSI, public assistance, housing, applications
  • Diabetes and blood pressure screenings
