Each summer, St. Nicks Alliance provides over 1,000 children and youth with six to eight weeks of high-quality, summer camp located in local public schools and community centers throughout North Brooklyn.

Summer Camp (SYEP)

As one of the largest providers of Summer Youth Employment (SYEP) in NYC, St. Nicks Alliance provides career exploration and paid internships with local employers for youth between the ages of 14 and 24 each summer.

Summer Youth Employment Offers:

  • Project-Based Learning: Youth aged 14–15 learn about career opportunities and make a difference in their communities through paid project-based activities.
  • Work Experiences: Young people aged 16–24 improve their work readiness skills and explore career pathways through paid summer jobs in a variety of industries.

SYEP Mentors

We reach out to employers and partners to mentor SYEP interns. St. Nicks Alliance manages all of the intern recruitment, HR duties, payment, etc.
