(Full-time position)
This role acts serves as a strategic partner to the executive director and chief operating officer. They will amplify effectiveness and ensure organizational alignment and strategic execution. The Chief of Staff oversees organization-wide functions, including people and culture, technology, facilities management, and direct fundraising. This position will help advance policy, transformational culture, and support transformational leaders.

Promotional Ambassador

(Part-time or Full-time position)
We seek a personable and versatile promotional ambassador whose expertise translates into successful client referrals and increased brand recognition. In addition, they will support in-person promotion of and recruitment for services at community events.

Part-time Receptionist

SOCIAL SERVICES

Case Manager

(Full-time position)
The case manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services for individuals and families in supportive housing, as determined by in-depth screening and ongoing assessment. The case manager develops a service plan and makes needed referrals.

Health and Wellness Coordinator

(Full-time position)
The health and wellness coordinator provides high-quality services to formerly homeless families and individuals in St. Nicks Alliance-managed supportive housing programs. This role focuses on improving residents’ economic self-reliance, independent living, and integration into community life through educational, recreational, and wellness programming.

Social Care Network Navigator 

(Full-time position)
The Social Care Network navigator assists with the implementation of social care network services across departments within St. Nicks Alliance, ensuring all eligible clients are screened and connected to navigation providers. This is accomplished through client outreach, reporting, and data management. 

Peer Specialist

(Part-time position)
The peer specialist supports individuals and families residing in supportive housing programs in Brooklyn and provides trauma-informed, recovery-oriented peer support to formerly homeless tenants. Drawing on lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery, the peer specialist engages residents in supportive services that promote housing stability, wellness, recovery, and community integration.

HOUSING JOBS

Senior Real Estate Project Manager

(Full-time position)

The senior real estate project manager drives multiple affordable housing projects (new construction and rehabilitation) through all phases—from inception to stabilization. This role requires a proficient, independent leader who is ready to take direct ownership of this significant pipeline. 

Senior Occupancy Specialist

(Full-time position)

Under the supervision of the assistant director of Occupany & Compliance, the senior occupancy specialist will ensure that all units in the St. Nicks Alliance portfolio of housing are in compliance at all times with HOME, HUD, LIHTC, and all government regulatory agreements requirements.

Occupancy Specialist

(Full-time position)

The occupancy specialist will implement the income certification and reporting requirements on government-regulated housing properties overseen by St. Nicks Alliance.

Lobby Attendant 

(Full-time position)

The lobby attendant is directly accountable for the building’s security and traffic control under the supervision of the property manager, the assistant director, and the director of property management. The attendant must maintain a professional presence and be always diligent and alert.

Custodian

(Full-time position)
This position is responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the buildings assigned, perform general repairs, preparing vacant units of buildings managed by St. Nicks Alliance to operate within local and state compliance and regulations. The custodian must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., go up and down stairs and climb a 6 ft. ladder.

The assistant director will support the program director in overseeing and coordinating a St. Nicks Alliance school site afterschool program. 

Elementary School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor 

(Full-time position)

We are currently looking for a dedicated social worker or mental health counselor to join our team at an elementary school in North Brooklyn.

 

Small World Early Childhood Center Teacher

(Full-time position)
The teacher will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and addressing the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of the individual students in their care. They will provide a child-centered educational environment encouraging learning through exploration and discovery and promoting the development of a positive self-image. 

Pre-K After-school Group Leader

(Part-time position)

The pre-K after-school group leader delivers early learning experiences that foster growth in key areas, including social-emotional development, literacy, science, language, STEM, physical education, and the arts. They support each child’s development in ways that are sensitive to their age, abilities, and individual learning stages.

After-school Group Leader

(Part-time position)
The part-time after-school group leader supports elementary and middle school students with completing their homework and developing strong study habits. In addition to helping to plan and lead a range of activities, including academic support sessions, enrichment programs, leadership initiatives, community service projects, physical education, arts and crafts, and performing arts experiences.

High School After-school Group Leader

(Part-time position)
The part-time after-school group leader supports the growth of high school student participants. In addition to helping to plan and lead a range of activities, the after-school group leader will monitor and engage with students during all program activities, including meals, transitions, field trips, clubs, activities, recreation, and dismissal.

St. Nicks Alliance seeks multiple candidates to serve as job developers with a focus on building trades in the following sectors: construction, environmental remediation, building maintenance, and HVAC. The job developer will be responsible for developing and building capacity/partnerships with potential employers. The goal of this role is to build employment and internship opportunities and to successfully match disconnected, underserved, unemployed, or underemployed adults (18 and over) with sustainable career work and/or quality internships. 

Community Outreach Recruitment Coordinator

(Full-time position)

Our community outreach recruitment coordinator will support recruitment of a variety of trainings including construction, environmental remediation, HVAC, financial services, hemodialysis, and direct job placement support.

Train & Earn Mental Health Professional/Social Worker

(Full-time position)

St. Nicks Alliance seeks a mental health professional/social worker to help support our Train & Earn program. The Train & Earn mental health professional/social worker focuses on mental health, well-being, self-management, and other supportive service needs of participants through small groups and one-on-one sessions where needed. The social worker will guide clients through the stages of the program to enable them to maintain positive behaviors and meet plan deliverables/goals.

Train & Earn Case Manager/Transformational Coach

(Full-time position)

This role will manage and support a caseload of up to 60 young adults who are out of school and out of work (OSOW) through intake, career planning, case management, and 12-month retention services. The full-time case manager/transformational coach will maintain accurate data in PTS and ETO, ensure compliance with New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) standards, coordinate training, workshops, site visits, and crisis interventions while fostering strong participant engagement and community partnerships.

Train & Earn Job Developer/Internship Coordinator (Industrial & Infrastructure)

(Full-time position)

St. Nicks Alliance seeks a full-time job developer/internship coordinator specializing in the industrial and infrastructure sector with a focus on the construction, HVAC, and building maintenance industries for its Train and Earn Young Adult program. A full-time job developer/internship coordinator will connect and place all 60 participants in high-quality 150-hour paid work experience positions. The job developer/internship coordinator is primarily responsible for developing and building internship and job placement partnerships with potential employers. 

Train & Earn  Outreach and Retention Specialist

(Full-time position)

The outreach and retention specialist, dedicated solely to the Train & Earn program, will focus on participant recruitment and support case managers with program retention.

Tech Literacy Recruitment and Case Specialist

(Full-time position)

This role supports the tech literacy program and our growing technology training, including recruiting, screening, developing tech literacy data analytics & IT Help Desk support internships, and job placements for our credentialed training in technology. 

Workplace Success Program Coordinator

(Full-time position)

The workplace success program coordinator position will deliver wraparound supportive services such as case management, retention, transformational coaching, job readiness facilitation, and career coaching to unemployed adults who are seeking job placement assistance. This position is intended to provide the work readiness training program participants with the training and resources they need to acquire basic employability training to be competitive in the job market

The community outreach recruitment coordinator will have a specific focus on recruitment in North and Central Brooklyn, with concentrated efforts on recruiting from violence intervention focus areas.
